Berry's highly textured improvisations were created using electric bass, a Boss GT6-B multi effects unit and the Boomerang Phrase Sampler. Participants' highly colorful improvisations were created with wax craypas on 12" x 12" black construction paper.
Teachers were given four black squares and a 10" circle pattern. Berry played four differenct compositions and participants could respond to all or any of the four. Sandi Karlson (above), Art Educator, Palisades School District is the creator of the images at left.
